VDM100 and additional items for any possible shipping damage. The
VDM100 is shipped with two replacement fuses for the power entry
module. A piece of 1/8" O.D. Teflon tubing also comes with the VDM100.
This tubing can be connected to the Tank Drain when draining Dl water
from the tank inside the VDM100. Contact Brooks if there are any
problems or if more information is required.
The following items can be purchased separately; these items are not
necessary for the installation and normal operation of the VDM100:
The Brooks GUI provides diagnostic tools and an alternate access to
VDM100 functions.
A serial communication package that is utilized by the Brooks GUI provides
means to connect between a PC or laptop (where the GUI is installed), and
the VDM100 RS485 Diagnostic Port. This package consists of an RS232
to RS485 converter that plugs into the serial communications port of the
computer and a cable that connects the converter to the 2.5 mm Mini Jack
on the VDM100.
NOTE: The Brooks GUI must be installed on a computer in order to
perform any diagnostic function. Contact Brooks for information on
purchasing the GUI software and serial communication cabling. Refer to
