CAUSE
• No power supply
• Switch (b) in wrong position
• Incorrect functioning of the room thermostat
• Voltage control has tripped due to insufficient
electrical supply (V < 190V)
• Presence of flame before transformer ignites
• Defective photocell
• Defective electrical motor
• Defective electrical motor bearings
• Burned out condenser
• Defective electric ignitor
• Defective flame control box
• Defective photocell
• Insufficient or no fuel at burner
• Defective solenoid
• Internal error of electronic device
• Insufficient combustion air
• Excess combustion air
• Fuel contaminated or contains water
• Air leaks in fuel circuit
• Insufficient fuel at burner
• Excess fuel at burner
• Manual reset safety thermostat has tripped due
to excessive overheating of combustion
chamber
• Defective solenoid seal
• Foreign bodies on fan blades
• Insufficienct air circulation
REMEDY
• Check functioning and position of switch
• Check the mains
• Check power connections
• Check fuse
• Select correct position
• Check that thermostat connection plug is inserted
• Check thermostat electrical connection
• Check thermostat setting and correct it
• Check functioning of thermostat
• The heater restarts automatically when sufficient voltage is
restored (V>190V)
• Check the power line if the heater starts and stops several
times
• Check the power line if the heater does not start and remains
in safety stop
• Clean and eliminate diesel residue in combustion chamber
• Replace photocell
• Replace electrical motor
• Replace electrical motor bearings
• Replace condenser
• Check connection of H.T. wires to electrodes and transformer
• Check electrodes setting
• Check electrodes for cleanliness
• Replace H.T. transformer
• Replace control box
• Clean or replace photocell
• Check state of motor-pump plastic coupling
• Check for any air infiltrations in the fuel line by checking the air-
tightness of the pipes and of the filter seal.
• Clean or replace oil nozzle
• Check electrical connection
• Check thermostat LI
• Clean solenoid valve and replace it if necessary
• Reset the device and attempt at least two starts. If the problem
persists, replace the device
• Make sure air inlet and outlet are free
• Check the position of the air regulation ring
• Clean burner disc
• Check the position of the air regulation ring
• Drain fuel in tank and load with clean fuel
• Clean oil filter
• Check the seals on the ducts and the diesel filter
• Check pump pressure
• Clean or replace fuel nozzle
• Check pump pressure
• Replace nozzle
• Check that the fan motor starts correctly and is not obstructed
• Check that the fan motor is not burned out or that the motor
condenser is not broke
• Check burner calibration
• Check the path and correct discharge of fumes

• Eliminate all possible obstacles to proper air flow
