T-Connector Wiring Kit
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read instructions thoroughly before beginning.
2. Prior to installation, test the correct operation of all
vehicle lighting by turning
on the vehicle's headlamps,
tail lights, turn signals and
brake lights. After verifying
correct operation, turn off all
lights before proceeding.
3. Locate the vehicle's
wiring harness. This factory
harness will be located behind
the rear bumper on the left
(driver's) side for the Ranger
or
B-Series Pickups (Fig. 1), and
on the right (passenger's)
side on the
Explorer or Mountaineer (Fig. 2).
4. Remove the protective dust cover from the factory
harness connector. The connector will be similar
in apearance to that on the T-Connector harness. If
present, clean away any dirt, dust or debris from the
connector.
5. Insert the T-Connector harness end into the factory
