PROPERTIES OF THE APPLIANCE
The laser rangefinder is an appliance which permits to measure dis-
tance with a laser beam. Measurements are realised in straight line.
Its wide functions allow for direct measurements, indirect measure-
ments, and calculations of the surface area and cubic capacity of
interiors. It is recommended to operate the device in interiors.
ATTENTION! The rangefinder is not a measurement device as de-
fined by the „Measurement Act".
ACCESSORIES
The rangefinder is provided complete and does not require assem-
bly. For correct operation, it is however required to install batteries.

GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS

Do not ever direct the laser beam towards people or animals. Do
not look into the laser beam. The laser is rated as class II and emits
635 nm waves, and its maximum power is 1 mW. Such a beam does
not imply any danger, but when directed towards an eyeball may
damage the sight. Do not dismantle the appliance yourself, since
this might expose you to the laser light. Do not modify the appliance,
and particularly the laser circuit.
Do not use the appliance when the ambient temperature exceeds
the operating temperature range. If the device is stored at a tem-
perature outside the operating temperature range, before work wait
until the appliance has reached a temperature within the operating
temperature range.
Do not expose the appliance to water, including precipitations. Do
not place the appliance along with other tools in a toolbox, since
impacts might damage the rangefinder.
The appliance must be transported in the supplied case.
In case of long periods of inactivity of the appliance, it is required
to remove the batteries from the appliance. Do not store the range-
finder at a temperature exceeding 60

Clean the appliance with a soft, clean and slightly humid cloth.
