DEVICE.
INTENDED USER PROFILE: The intended user should be a licensed medical
professional, the patient or the patient's caregiver. The user should be able
to read, understand and be physically capable of performing the directions,
warnings and cautions in the information for use.
INTENDED USE/INDICATIONS: Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, forearm tendinitis,
arthritis, post-operative rehabilitation, mild spacticity, and other wrist pain.
PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS: Providing immobilization or controlled
movement of the limb or body segment.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: None
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS:
• If you have skin disorders/injuries in the relevant part of the body, the product
should be fitted and worn only after consultation with a medical professional.
• Do not use over open wounds.
• If pain, swelling, changes in sensation or other unusual reactions occur
whileusing this product, you should contact your doctor immediately.
• Do not use this device if it was damaged and/or packaging has been opened.
NO TE: Contact manufacturer and competent authority in case of a serious
incident arising due to usage of this device.
APPLICATION INFORMATION:
IMAK PIL-O-SPLINT®:
1) Slide hand into Pil-O-Splint so your palm rests on the bead-filled pad. The
two rigid stays should be on top (dorsal) side of your hand.
2) The thumb should protrude through one of the side holes. The thumb hole
on the opposite side is for using the splint on the other hand. Do not put
2 your pinky (little finger) through the second hole!
IMAK ADJUSTABLE PIL-O-SPLINT®:
A) With the white lining facing up, place the palm of your hand over the
bead-filled pad on the Adjustable Pil-O-Splint.
B) The thumb should protrude through one of the side holes. The thumb hole
on the opposite side is for using the splint on the other hand. Do not put
your pinky (little finger) through the second hole!
C) Roll the straight side with the two rigid stays snugly over your hand and
forearm.
D) Wrap the opposing strap diagonally over the Pil-O-Splint. Adjust to desired
pressure and comfort level.
E) For ease of use, once adjusted to the perfect fit, simply slide the Adjustable
Pil-O-Splint on and off without opening the strap.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS: Hand wash in warm water using mild soap, rinse
thoroughly. AIR DRY. Note: If not rinsed thoroughly, residual soap may cause

irritation and deteriorate material.

WARRANTY: DJO, LLC will repair or replace all or part of the unit and its
accessories for material or workmanship defects for a period of six months from
the date of sale.

USO PREVISTO/INDICACIONES: Para el síndrome del túnel carpiano,
tendinitis del antebrazo, artritis, rehabilitación postoperatoria, espasticidad leve,
y otros dolores de la muñeca.
CARACTERÍSTICAS DE RENDIMIENTO: Proporcionar inmovilización o
movimiento controlado a la extremidad o segmento corporal.

ADVERTENCIAS Y PRECAUCIONES:
• Si tiene trastornos o lesiones cutáneas en la parte relevante del cuerpo, el
producto debe colocarse y usarse solo después de consultar con un profesional
médico.
• No debe aplicarse sobre heridas abiertas.
• Si se producen dolor, hinchazón, cambios en la sensación u otras reacciones
inusuales durante el uso de este producto, debe ponerse en contacto con su
médico inmediatamente.
• No utilice este dispositivo si está dañado o si el envase está abierto.
NOTA: Comuníquese con el fabricante y la autoridad competente en caso de un
incidente grave que surja debido al uso de este dispositivo.
INSTRUCCIONES DE COLOCACIÓN:
TABLILLA PIL-O-SPLINT® IMAK:
1) Deslice la mano en la tablilla Pil-O-Splint hasta que la palma descanse sobre la
almohadilla de cuentas. Los dos soportes rígidos deben estar en el lado superior
(dorsal) de la mano.
2) El dedo pulgar debe salir fuera de uno de los orificios laterales. El orificio del
dedo pulgar en el lado opuesto es para utilizar la tablilla en la otra mano. ¡No
colocar el meñique (dedo más chico) a través del segundo orificio!
TABLILLA PIL-O-SPLINT® IMAK:
A) Con el forro hacia arriba, coloque la palma de la mano sobre la almohadilla de
cuentas en la tablilla Pil-O-Splint ajustable.
B) El dedo pulgar debe salir fuera de uno de los orificios laterales. El orificio del
dedo pulgar en el lado opuesto es para utilizar la tablilla en la otra mano. ¡No
colocar el meñique (dedo más chico) a través del segundo orificio!
C) Gire el lado recto con los dos soportes rígidos ceñidamente sobre la mano y el
antebrazo.
D) Envuelva la correa opuesta diagonalmente sobre la tablilla Pil-O-Splint. Ajuste a
los niveles deseados de presión y comodidad.
E) Para la facilidad de uso, una vez ajustada a su adaptación perfecta, deslice la
tablilla Pil-O-Splint ajustable de vez en cuando sin abrir la correa.
INSTRUCCIONES DE LIMPIEZA: lávela a mano con agua tibia y jabón suave, y
enjuáguela bien. SECAR AL AIRE. Nota: si no se enjuaga bien, los restos de jabón
pueden ocasionar irritación y estropear el material.
PARA SER UTILIZADA POR UN SOLO PACIENTE ÚNICAMENTE.

NO CONTIENE LÁTEX.
GARANTÍA: si existen defectos de material o mano de obra, DJO, LLC , reparará
o reemplazará, ya sea total o parcialmente, la unidad y sus accesorios por un
periodo de seis meses a partir de la fecha de compra.
