• position the machine on a flat surface and prevent any involun-
tary movements;
• continuously supply the machine with clean water; do not supply
the machine with salted water or potentially dangerous (explo-
sive, toxic or inflammable) liquids;
• avoid leaving the machine exposed to very low temperatures
where there is a risk of freezing;
• at the end of all operational activity, turn off the machine using
the switch;
• connect the high pressure cleaner to the water mains using rein-
forced rubber pipes with an adequate section and checking junc-
tion seals;
• wash tyres and their valves at a distance greater than 30 cm, to
prevent the high pressure jet from damaging them (the same is
indicated by the tyre changing colour);
• only use detergents declared to be appropriate for high pressure
cleaner.
Attention
Repairs should only be carried out by specialised person-
nel. Always contact one of our technical assistance cen-
tres. Failure to respect the above absolves the manufac-
turer of any liability and constitutes negligent use of the
product.

6. OPERATING THE HIGH PRESSURE CLEANER

MACHINE ASSEMBLY
If the machine is in its "basic" configuration, it does not require
any operations apart from the assembly of accessories (see description
below). On the other hand, if the "trolley with hose reel kit" is used, it is
necessary to follow the assembly instructions annexed to the kit.
Before start-up, check that the filter mounted in the water inlet
junction is clean.
ACCESSORIES ASSEMBLY
Fasten the terminal to the spray gun (bayonet fastening): axially
press and rotate the terminal in a clockwise direction with respect to
the spray gun (for disassembly, axially press and rotate in an anticlock-
wise direction).
Connect the H.P. pipe to the H.P. water outlet fitting on the high
pressure cleaner using the rapid screw connection and to the spray gun
by means of the threaded connection (see Fig. 4).

CONNECTION TO THE WATER MAINS
Using the plastic rubber pipe junction screwed to the high pressure
cleaner water inlet (see Fig. 4), connect a rubber pipe with an internal
diameter equal to 17 mm (not provided with the machine).
Correct functioning of the high pressure cleaner is obtained if the
supply pressure is at least 1,5-2 bar: with lower pressures, the quanti-
ty of water supplied may not be sufficient. The flow rate for the supply
water must be at least equal to the nominal flow rate of the machine.
The maximum temperature for the supply water must not exceed
40°C; higher temperatures can damage the pump seal gaskets.
Attention
Any solid particles or air bubbles could clog the nozzle or
obstruct correct functioning. To avoid the same, we re-
commend carrying out an initial start-up of the high
pressure cleaner without the lance, allowing the water
to exit for a few seconds.

CONNECTION TO THE ELECTRICITY MAINS
The machine must be connected to an electricity system in compli-
ance with current regulations. Electricity specifications are those listed
in the technical data table and on the rating plate, which must match
those of the electricity mains supply. Before inserting the electricity plug
in the socket, it is essential to ensure that the machine switch is in the
"0" position.
All warnings set out in paragraph "5" remain valid, with failure to
respect the same constituting cancellation of any warranty rights and
absolving the manufacturer of any liability.

7. USING THE HIGH PRESSURE CLEANER

START-UP
After checking that the operations described in paragraph "6" have
been carried out, relative to start-up, it is necessary to proceed as follows:
• open the tap for the water mains;
• start-up the high pressure cleaner, pressing the switch button to
the "I" position (see Fig. 4);
• press the spray gun lever, gripping it firmly, and direct the water
jet towards the surface to be cleaned;
• by rotating the ring nut at the end of the terminal it is possible to
vary the jet as shown in Fig. 5.

INTERRUPTION
The machine is equipped with a machine stop device; hence, if the
spray gun lever is released, the exit of water is immediately interrupted,
as is the motor-pump functioning. The high pressure cleaner automati-
cally restarts normal functioning when the spray gun lever is pressed
again.
STOP
To stop the high pressure cleaner from functioning, it is necessary to:
• press the switch button to the "0" position;
• shut off the water supply;
• discharge the residual pressure in the circuit, keeping the water
jet lever pressed until the water jet finishes;
• lock the spray gun, to avoid any involuntary water action, by
pressing the button on the side of the spray gun;
• disconnect the plug from the electricity socket.
WASHING WITH DETERGENT
With the machine off, assemble the detergent recipient (see Fig. 4;
accessory supplied) at the end of the lance, when the work position oc-
cupies that of fan jet, applying firm pressure until fastening is achieved.
To obtain effective washing, carefully spray the detergent, allow it
to act for a few minutes and, after removing the detergent recipient, by
lifting the upper tang, thoroughly rinse with a jet of water.
Attention
We recommend using only detergents specifically desi-
gned for high pressure cleaner; contact your retailer for
advice concerning such products.
We recommend not using an excessive amount of deter-
gent in order to protect the environment; respect the
doses set out on the detergent package.
