Cock the tool
Risk of crushing and burns
 Incorrect handling can lead to
crushing and/or burns.
¾ Wear safety gloves.
¾ Only pull the front sleeve [10]
by the grip area for cocking the
tool [5].
Pull the piston guide via the grip area [5] up to
■
the stop out of the guide and then push all the
way back in.
3 The piston is moved to its start position.
3 The cartridge strip [11] advances.
Insert the fastener
Completely insert the fastener [12] head-first in
■
the piston guide.
Ensure that the tip of the fastener is pointed in
the direction of the substrate.
Note
If it is difficult to manually insert the
fastener, then it may be that it is not
suitable for the tool.
WARNING!
Risk of severe injuries.
¾ When unloading the tool always
remove the cartridges first.
Insert the cartridges
As shown in the figure, insert the cartridge
■
strip [11] from below through the grip until the
bottom end is flush with the grip.
• The cartridge must match the fastening sub-
strate (green, yellow, red).
• Insert a started cartridge from below and pull
through to a non-spent cartridge.
• Always use a new cartridge strip after cocking.
Otherwise the first cartridge will not detonate.
CAUTION!
Set the power adjustment
Adjust the force acting on the fastener via the
■
adjustment wheel [2]:
• Level 1 = lowest force
• Level 6 = highest force
Drive in the fastener
WARNING !
Injuries or material damage.
 If technical or visible defects exist,
you must no longer use the tool.
¾ Check the tool daily before the
start of work for correct function.
WARNING!
Risk of severe injuries
 The cartridge does not detonate
immediately after the trigger is
pressed.
¾ Keep the tool pressed against the
fastening substrate for at least
another 30 seconds.
