Maintenance and cleaning
To ensure trouble-free and safe working, the tool
must be regularly maintained.
Service the tool daily or at least after
■
every 500 firings.
• If unused, service at least every 6
months.
Harmful dust and dirt.
 Harmful dust and dirt can be
released during cleaning.
¾ Wear suitable safety goggles,
gloves and respiratory protection.
Disassembly (Fig. III)
WARNING!
Risk of severe injuries.
¾ Never disassemble the tool with
cartridges still inserted.

Danger of burns.
 The hot surface of tool elements
may result in burns.
¾ Wear suitable safety gloves.
Raise the angled end of the ring spring [13]
■
and turn the ring spring [13] upwards through
approximately 30°.
Note
Do not turn the ring spring too far, as
otherwise the underlying steel ball falls
out.
Replace damaged ring springs as necessary.
■
Pull the piston stop [14] slightly back and then
■
remove.
Pull the assembly [15], comprising piston
■
sleeve [8], piston [9], front sleeve[10] and
piston guide [6], forwards out of the housing.
Remove clip [16] from the front sleeve [10].
■
Replace damaged clips as necessary.
■
Pull the front sleeve [10] off from the piston
■
sleeve [8].
Remove piston guide [6] from the front
■
sleeve [10].
Pull the piston [9] out of the piston sleeve [8].
■
Note
Do not remove the clip on the piston
sleeve [8] as otherwise, the underlying
steel ball and the pin [17] fall out.
Check all components for wear and / or
■
damage and replace as necessary.
Note
The piston is a wear part.
If the piston shows signs of wear, it
must be replaced.
