housing and insert the T-Connector ends with the green
wires between the seperated ends.
10. Route the 12 gauge black wire from the battery
compartment under the vehicle along the frame to a position
near the left (drivers) side tail light housing and the T-
Connectors black box (Fig. 2). Secure the wire to the vehicle
using cable ties (included).
Caution: When routing wire through metal or other

sharp surfaces, always utilize an existing grommet, provide a
grommet or insulate the wire from the hole with silicone rubber.
11. Strip 5/16" of the insulation from one end the inline fuse holder
(included) and attach the 3/8" ring terminal using a crimping tool or pliers.
12. Connect the opposite end of the fuse holder to the black 12 ga. wire
using the yellow butt connector provided. Strip 5/16" of insulation from each
before connecting.
13. With the fuse removed, attach the 3/8"
ring terminal to the vehicles positive (+) battery
terminal (Fig. 3).
Warning: Do not attempt to connect the
black power wire to the vehicle fuse panel
or any other accessory wiring. Failure to

connect
directly to the vehicle battery could cause vehicle damage and/or
trailer lighting failure.
14. At the rear of the vehicle, Strip 5/16" of insulation from the black 12 ga.
wire and connect it to the blue wire using the yellow butt connector on the
converter wire.
15. Reattach the vehicles Negative (-) battery wire.
16. Place the 10 amp fuse into the fuse holder installed in step 12.
17. Confirm trailer harness operation with a test light or by using a trailer.
18. Secure all wires using cable ties (provided). The
T-Connectors black box should be secured behind the left (drivers) side tail
light housing.
19. Re-install both tail light assemblies using the fasteners removed in step 2.
