Assembly and adjustment
Prior to assembly and adjustment always
unplug the tool.
Inserting and removing a bit (fig. B & C)
• Align the pilot hole (6) in the chuck (2) with an
opening in the chuck guard (3).
• Insert the chuck key into the pilot hole (6).
• Open the chuck jaws (7) by turning
counterclockwise.
• Insert the shank of a bit into the chuck.
• Tighten the chuck using all three holes.
• To remove the bit, proceed in reverse order.
Chuck key holder (fig. C)
• Fit the chuck key (5) to the chuck key holder (4)
as shown.
Chuck removal (fig. D)
• Tighten an Allen key into the chuck (2) and strike
it with a hammer as shown.
• Unscrew the chuck by hand.

Instructions for use
• Always observe the safety instructions
and applicable regulations.
Prior to operation:
• Insert the appropriate bit.
• Mark the spot where the hole is to be drilled.
Switching on and off (fig. A)
• To run the tool, press the paddle switch (1).
The pressure exerted on the paddle switch
determines the tool speed.
• To stop the tool, release the paddle switch.
Tool handling (fig. E)
Thanks to the paddle switch the drill can be used in
various positions as illustrated for optimum control
and comfort.

appropriate accessories.
