Continuous Wave II Arthroscopy Pump
This operating manual provides important information for the safe use of all components of
the Arthrex Continuous Wave II Arthroscopy Pump AR-6450 including accessories. Read the
manual thoroughly prior to using this system and keep it in an easily accessible place.
Follow all safety precautions!
The Continuous Wave II Arthroscopy Pump is designed and tested in accordance with
DIN EN 60601-1.
According to DIN EN 60601 this product is type BF, class 1.
According to MDD93/42/EEC, Annex IX, Rule 11, this product is classified as a class IIa
G
product.

Prior to use in a surgical procedure, carefully unpack and inspect the components for any
signs of damage, which may have occurred during shipping. If shipping damage is
suspected, notify Arthrex or the authorized Arthrex distributor immediately.
Any damage may compromise patient safety.
If any transport or first installation damage is not reported in writing within 7 days of receiving
the product, the warranty could be rendered void.
