MAINTENANCE
Except for replacing the fuses, the Arthrex Continuous Wave II Arthroscopy Pump needs no
special maintenance. If the roll pump should malfunction, please contact Arthrex.

Troubleshooting
Arthrex customer service should be informed immediately in the event of any damage or
malfunctions in the equipment.
Fault
No power
The pump doesn't work when it is
switched on.
No or inadequate flow
Pump operates irregularly
Inadequate pressure
Distension liquid
bloody or cloudy
Causes and remedies
1. Check the main cable.
2. Send in for repairs.
1. Check that the housing is closed and locked.
2. Check if the tubing between the cover flap and
rollers is jammed.
3. Check that the pressure sensor is connected
correctly.
4. Check whether the tubing clips and shut-off valves
are open.
1. Check that all tubing clips are open.
2. Check the settings for flow and pressure.
3. Check if the tubing is pinched or crimped.
4. Check whether the pump housing locking device is
engaged.
5. Check that the hose is guided correctly over the
rollers.
1. Reduce flow until pump operation stabilizes.
1. Choose higher pressure setting
2. Reduce the suction effect
3. Use high-flow cannulas
1. Increase the drain or suction effect of the Adapter
Power System
2. Increase pressure
3. Increase the flow rate of the pump
