6.3 INTERVENTIONS ON THE MACHINE

6.3.1 Aligning the cutting-means
assembly (Fig. 6.3)
The cutting-means assembly should be prop-
erly adjusted to obtain an evenly mown lawn.
If mowing is uneven, check the tyre pressure.
If this is not sufficient to achieve an even cut,
please contact your Dealer to adjust the align-
ment of the cutting-means assembly.
6.3.2 Replacing the wheels (Fig. 6.4)
Stop the machine on flat ground and put a block
under a load-bearing part of the frame on the
side that the wheel is to be changed.
The wheels are held by a snap ring (1) which
can be removed with a screwdriver.
NOTE If you have to replace one or both rear
wheels, make sure that any differences in their
external diameter does not exceed 8-10 mm; on
the contrary, you must adjust the cutting-means
assembly alignment to prevent uneven mowing.
IMPORTANT Before remounting the wheel,
apply grease to the axle. Put the snap ring (1)
and shoulder washer (2) back in place.
6.3.3 Repairing or replacing tyres
The tyres are "Tubeless" and must be replaced
or repaired if punctured by a specialized tyre
repairer following the procedures required for
this kind of tyre.
6.3.4 Replacing bulbs ( if fitted)
• Type "I" bulbs (incandescent) (Fig. 6.5)
The bulbs (18W) have a bayonet fitting and are
installed in the bulb holder which can be taken
out by turning it anti-clockwise with pliers.
• Type "II" bulbs (LED) (Fig. 6.6)
Unscrew the ring-nut (1) and remove the con-
nector (2).
Remove the LED illuminator (3), secured by
screws (4).
• Type "III" bulbs (LED) (Fig. 6.7)
Raise the bonnet and remove the connector (1).
Detach the cotter pin (2) and slide the bonnet off
laterally.
Detach the LED light bulb cables (3), undo the
screws (4) and release the tabs (5).
Raise and release the upper part of the bonnet
(6).
Undo the screws (7) and replace the LED head-
lights (8).
To replace the bonnet, repeat the above proce-
dure in reverse order.
6.3.5 Replacing a fuse (Fig. 6.8)
The machine is fitted with fuses (1) with different
capacities and functions. Specifically:
–    1 0 A fuse = protects the main and power cir-
cuits of the electronic circuit board. When it
blows, the machine stops and the dashboard
light switches off.
–    2 5 A fuse = protects the battery recharge cir-
cuit. When it blows, the battery gradually runs
down and the machine will have problems
starting. The fuse capacity is indicated on the
fuse.
IMPORTANT A blown fuse must always be
replaced by one of the same type and ampere
rating, and never with one of another rating.
If you are unable to understand why it has
blown, contact Your Dealer.
6.3.6 Removing, replacing and
reassembling of cutting means
WARNING!
tive gloves to handle the cutting means.
WARNING!
bent cutting means; never attempt to repair
them! ALWAYS USE ORIGINAL CUTTING
MEANS!
Only cutting means bearing the code indicated
in the table on page ii must be used on this ma-
chine.
Given product evolution, the above mentioned
cutting means may be replaced in time with oth-
ers having similar interchangeable and operat-
ing safety features.
IMPORTANT Cutting means should be
replaced in pairs, especially when there are
marked differences in wear.
