FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
Place the BORT
Stabilo
using the hand straps, close the front closure.
Make sure it fits comfortably. To provide further relief to the lumbar region,
simultaneously and evenly tighten the side straps.
To avoid undesirable rotation around the spine, make sure that you pull
both side straps simultaneously.
The pad (Art. 104 710 / 104 740) is velcroed to the support and can be posi-
tioned freely. Ensure that the wide side of the pad faces upward.
INDICATIONS
Treatment of increased pain in the lumbar spine area, severe low back
pain, recurrent low back pain, osteochondrosis, spondylarthrosis, lumbos-
ciatica, mild radicular syndrome, spondylolysis without spondylolisthesis,
mild to moderate lumbar deformity (degenerative spondylolisthesis), after
intervertebral disc surgery.
CONTRA INDICATIONS
Peripheral arterial occlusive disease (PAOD), lymphatic drainage disorders
and indistinct soft tissue swellings remote from the applied aid, sensory
loss and blood flow disorders in the affected body part, skin disorders in
the treated part of the body.

particularly during activities. If instructed to wear the support at night,
you must take precautions to avoid impairment of blood circulation. If you
experience numbness, please loosen the support immediately and, if nec-
essary, remove it.
If you suffer from persistent complaints or if you experience worsening
complaints, you should consult with your doctor.
Please do not apply any creams or ointments at any time while wearing the
support as these can destroy the material.
