1. AC POWER
Use only the included power adapter. Plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet and the
DC plug into the DC jack at the rear side of the main unit.
2. Backup Battery
The device requires 2 AA-size batteries (not included).
The backup battery is intended for short power outages
only.
The unit´s primary functions cannot run on the backup
battery alone.
3. Remote Control (magnetic)
The remote control requires one CR2025 lithium battery (included). All of the above controls
are duplicated on the unit´s remote control.
The procedure for replacing the remote´s CR2025
battery is also detailed on the back of the remote.
Warning:
1. Be sure that the batteries are installed correctly.
Wrong polarity may damage the unit.
2. Use only the same size and type of batteries.
3. Do not mix old and new batteries.
4. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or
rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
5. If the unit is not to be used for an extended period of
time remove the batteries.
6. Do not try to recharge the batteries which are not
intended to be recharged. They can overhead
and rupture.
