ADJUSTING MOTOR SLOW-DOWN (Speed not slowed down – trimmer set at maximum in the factory)
It is possible to adjust the speed while the boom is lowered.
1 - Turn DIP1 ON. The red DL1 LED starts flashing.
2 - Press and hold the PROG button (manual operation, open-stop-close-stop-open, etc.). When the green DL3 LED is on, the boom arm opens. When the red DL4 LED is
on, the boom arm closes.
3 - Adjust the slowing down speed:
- Adjust the LOW SPEED trimmer to minimum speed.
- Press and hold the PROG button
- Check the slowing down speed when the LSSC and LSSO safety devices are reached (about 30 before arriving at the end of the stroke).
- Adjust the LOW SPEED trimmer.
WARNING: Ensure the motor has enough power to move the rod when closing. If it doesn't, increase the setting on the trimmer to obtain optimal work conditions.
WARNING: In areas where temperatures are particularly harsh, turn the trimmer clockwise to increase the normal value by 5 points. Alternatively you can use the optional
PROBE (code ACG4666) to heat the motor.
4 - When you have finished the control, switch DIP1 off again => the DL1 LED switches off to confirm.
N.B.: The contact and photocells are not enabled during this control.
TIME PROGRAMMING (Operating time and Wait time before automatic closing, configured at the factory at 10 seconds each)
1 – Fully close the barrier
2 - Turn on the DIP2 micro-switch. The red DL1 LED starts flashing.
3 - Press and release the PROG button. The boom arm opens.
4 - When fully open, the boom arm stops and the 'wait time before automatic closing' starts (max 5 minutes) (default factory setting: 10 seconds)
5 – If the 'wait time before automatic closing' is sufficient or is not required, press the PROG button for a second.
6 - The boom arm closes and the red DL1 LED will stop flashing to confirm the teach-in procedure has been terminated. The safety devices or other barrier commands will
now work normally (inversions, stops, alarms, etc.). The boom arm closes quickly but slows down just before fully closing, as configured on the LOW SPEED trimmer.
7 - Turn off DIP2.
8 - End of procedure.
THE SAFETY DEVICES ARE ENABLED DURING PROGRAMMING AND WILL STOP PROGRAMMING IF ACTIVATED (LED DL1 WILL GO FROM FLASHING TO STEADY).
TO REPEAT PROGRAMMING, TURN OFF DIP2, CLOSE THE BOOM ARM ACCORDING TO THE CALIBRATION PROCEDURE, SLOW DOWN THE MOTOR AND REPEAT
THE PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE ABOVE.
PROGRAMMING THE REMOTE CONTROL (for PARK-CRX)
1 - Put DIP 1 on ON and then DIP 2 on ON => the DL1 LED flashes for 10 seconds.
2 - Press the key on the remote (normally channel A) within the 10 seconds. If the remote is stored correctly the green DL9 LED flashes once.
3 - Code programming time is renewed automatically so the next remote control can be stored.
4 - To end programming wait 10 seconds or press the PROG button briefly => the DL1 LED stops flashing.
5 - Put DIP 1 back on OFF and DIP 2 on OFF.
