Pre-installation

A.
System 920/400
Before System 20/400 can be installed, a suitable
height and position must be determined in relation to
the vehicle's parking space in the station.
System 20/400 is designed for use with stationary
vehicles parked across the length direction of the rail.

B.
System 920/1500
Before System 20/1500 can be installed, a suitable
height and position must be determined in relation to
the vehicle's parking space in the station.
System 920/1500 for vehicles in motion:
The extraction unit is pulled along the rail by the
vehicle. Manual connection of the system. Automatic
disconnection available. (picture 1b)
System 920/1500 for trucks and buses in motion:
The extraction unit is pulled along the rail by the
vehicle. Manual connection of the system. Automatic
disconnection available. (picture 1c)
System 920/1500 for stationary trucks
and buses:
The extraction unit is moved by hand along the rail.
Manual connection of the system. (picture 1c)
IMPORTANT!
If the System is designed for use only with statio-
nary vehicles, the vehicle must not be moved when
the hose nozzle has been connected to the vehicle
exhaust pipe.
For the best operation of suction trolleys designed
for vehicle in motion, it is recommended not to drive
the vehicle more than 1,5 - 2,0 m parallel to the rail.

SYSTEM 920
Mounting instruction
1.
Attach the mounting brackets in ceiling beams or
similar (picture 1, A and B). The distance between
the brackets must never be more than 5,0 m.
Check with a suitable instrument that the
brackets are level.
The ceiling attachments must be dimensioned to
permit a vertical tractive force of minimum 4000 N.

Lift the rail sections and "click" them on the
brackets. It is recommended to lift and "click"
each rail section and join them after the others.
If a longer piece of the rail is joined on the floor or
trestles, maximum two sections should be joined
at a time (see point 4 & picture 2)

The suspension point nearest the garage door
should be braced in both directions along the rail.

4.
Joining rail sections (picture 4a - 4h)
a.
Put the two connectors into the end of one of the
rail sections.
b.
Knock in the three steel guide pins. The machined
part of the pins should be into the holes.
c.
Fit the stiffener sheet metal plate on the upper
side of the rail. Use selfdrilling screws TEKS ST
4,8 x 1.
d.
Put the rail sections together. To make sure that
there will be no gap between the rail sections
it is important to secure that they meet each
other with the same kind of slot markings at
the sides.
e.
Move the connectors back until they meet the
joint in the middle. Check that there is no gap
between the rail sections.
f.
Tighten the screws on the connectors fully.
g.
Fit the stiffener sheet metal plate over the joint on
the upper side of the rail. Use selfdrilling screws
TEKS ST 4,8 x 1.
h.
Use sealing compound for the joints.
