Care tips for stainless steel surfaces

Use the "Chromol" cleanser to care for the stainless steel
surfaces.
You can get "Chromol" from dealers or customer service
using the
H Ident no. 00310359 as 500 ml (17 fl. oz.) spray bottle
and
H Ident no. 00166787 as 50 ml (1.7 fl. oz.) trial bottle.
In order to avoid damaging the surfaces, do not use
sponges, metal brushes, sharp edged objects or
scouring agents.
Also do not use aggressive chemical cleansers such as
defrost sprays, oven sprays, solvents or spot remover.

Noises

Normal noises

Humming: A motor is running, e.g. cooling unit, fan.
Bubbling, buzzing or gurgling: Coolant is flowing
through the pipes.
Clicking: Motor, switch or magnetic valves are switching
on or off.

Solving simple noise problems

Appliance is not level: Align the appliance with a level.
If necessary, place something underneath it.
Containers, racks or shelves wiggle or jam:
Check removable parts and replace if necessary.
Bottles or containers touch one another:
Move bottles or containers slightly apart.

Malfunctions, what to do?

Before contacting customer service:
Please check whether you can troubleshoot the problem
yourself based on the following information.
Customer service will charge you for advice, even if the
appliance is still under warranty.

Eliminating malfunctions yourself

You can eliminate the following malfunctions yourself by
checking the possible causes:
The appliance does not work
Please check:
H whether the plug is seated properly in the outlet and
H whether the fuse of the outlet is OK.
When plugging in the power plug, the cooling unit
does not start up, however a value is displayed on
the temperature indicator
If "DEMO" appears on the display, the presentation mode
has been activated inadvertently.
Deactivate presentation mode as follows:
1. Press the left plus button and the on/off button
simultaneously for approximately 5 seconds until
"MENU" and "d" appear on the display.
2. Press the fan button.
"d0" now appears on the display.
3. Press the fan button again.
The cooling unit starts, the current temperatures
appear on the display once again.
The appliance is now in normal operating mode.
The noises are too loud
Please check whether the appliance is standing firmly on
the floor. Please note that streaming noises in the cooling
circuit cannot be avoided.
