BATTERY-POWERED WIRELESS BELL
RUMBA ST-370 WITH BATTERY-FREE BUTTON
TECHNICAL DATA
* The operating range presented above refers
to open area under ideal conditions, with no
obstacles. If there are obstacles between
the receiver and the transmitter, one should
expect a decrease in the operating range for,
respectively: wood and plaster by 5 to 20%,
brick by 20 to 40%, reinforced concrete by
40 to 80%. It is not recommended to use the
radio systems in case of metal obstacles, due
to a significant limitation of the operating range.
Also aerial and underground power engineering
lines of a large power capacity and GSM
transmitters in close proximity of these devices
have a negative impact on their operating
range.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. General description
The bell may be used as: a doorbell, an internal calling device or a personal alarm device. The doorbell
installation network is not needed. The bell is battery operated. The button does not require any power
supply, thus avoiding the troublesome need to replace the battery. Lack of batteries also means resistance
to water and proper operation even at low temperatures, when regular transmitters are quickly discharged. Lack
of batteries allows the transmitter to operate even when fully immersed in water. 433 MHz frequency is used
for signal transmitting and receiving. The bell operating range reaches approx. 100 meters in open area.
There are 32 different ringtones and melodies to select from. The bell is also equipped with optical ringing
indication useful e. g. for hearing-impaired people and volume adjustment. 3 buttons may be programmed
for one bell.
2. First operation
Insert the batteries into the receiver before the first operation (batteries are not included).
The button does not require any battery or other power supply and is already programmed with the supplied
bell.
3. Melody selection
Press button (1) placed on the front to select the desired melody. Each subsequent pressing of the button sets
the next melody to be played after pressing the transmitter.
4. Volume adjustment
To play the currently set melody, press the playback button (2). Then, while playing the melody, press
the volume control button (3) . Subsequent pushing of this button sets subsequent volume levels.
5. Programming additional buttons
To program a given transmitter to the bell, press and hold button (1) for approx. 3 seconds until a double
beep is heard, which signals entering programming mode. Next, press the transmitter button (4) you want
to program. At this point the button is stored in the bell's memory, which is confirmed by a single beep. Wait
approx. 5 seconds until the bell leaves the programming mode, which is indicated by a double beep.
Up to a maximum of three transmitters can be programmed to one bell.
