Possible cause
AC drive has detected too high cur-
rent (> 4*I ) in the power cable:
H
• sudden heavy load increase
• short circuit in power cables
• unsuitable motor
The DC-link voltage has exceeded
the limits defined.
• deceleration time is too short
• brake chopper is disabled
• high overvoltage spikes in supply
• start/stop sequence is too fast
Current measurement has detected
that the motor phase current sum is
not zero.
• insulation failure in the cables or
the motor
The charging switch is open, when
the START command is given.
• faulty operation
• component failure
Various causes:
• defective component
• brake resistor short circuit or
overload
Remedy
Check the load.
Check the motor.
Check the cables and the con-
nections.
Run an identification.
Check the ramp times.
Extend the deceleration time.
Use a brake chopper or brake re-
sistor (available as options).
Activate overvoltage controller.
Check input voltage.
Check the power cables and the
motor.
Reset the fault and restart.
Contact the nearest distributor if
the fault reoccurs.
It cannot be reset from keypad.
Switch off power.
Do not switch the power back on!
Contact Grundfos.
If this fault appears simultane-
ously with F1, check the power
cables and the motor.
