Possible cause
Input line phase is missing.
Current measurement has detected
that there is no current in one of the
motor phases.
No brake resistor installed.
Brake resistor is broken.
Brake chopper failure.
The temperature is too low in the
heat sink or board of the power unit.
Heat sink temperature is under -10
°C
(14 °F).
The temperature is too high in the
heat sink or board of the power unit.
Heat sink temperature is over 100 °C
(212 °F).
Motor stops.
Motor is overloaded.
Motor is underloaded.
Drive power is too high.
Start angle identification has failed.
Generic motor control fault.
The drive fails to start. Run request is
ON when a new software (firmware
or application), a parameter setting or
any other file, which affects the oper-
ation of the drive, is loaded to the
drive.
Remedy
Check the supply voltage, the
fuses and the cables.
Check the power cable and the
motor.
Check the brake resistor and the
cabling.
If these are OK, the chopper is
faulty. Contact the nearest dis-
tributor.
Check the ambient temperature.
Check the correct amount and
flow of cooling air.
Check the heat sink for dust.
Check the ambient temperature.
Make sure that the switching fre-
quency is not too high in relation
to the ambient temperature and
motor load.
Check the motor and the load.
Decrease the motor load.
If the motor is not overloaded,
check the temperature model pa-
rameters.
Check the load.
Decrease the load.
Reset the fault and restart.
Contact the nearest distributor if
the fault reoccurs.
Reset the fault and stop the AC
drive.
Load the software and start the
AC drive.
