Answering calls

The calls received by the guard unit are automatically stored in the STACK of calls.
In the previous pages it is explained the way to select a call in order to make it the
ACTIVE CALL. In order to attend a call it necessarily has to be the ACTIVE CALL.
When a call is being answered the display shows an indication about the communi-
cation in progress, enclosed between square-brackets:

The guard unit is attending a call from the panel "p" (1 or 2).

t t t ] The guard unit is attending a call from telephone "t t t".

The way to attend the ACTIVE CALL once it has been selected, is explained in the
following sections.

Answering a call from apartment

ó) * The indicator beside the button flashes
shortly.
* The data of the call is shown in SECTION D
of the display. Example: call from apartment nº 127.
* To answer the call, pick-up the handset and
press the "BELL" button. The display will
indicate the communication between guard
and apartment.

Calling from an outdoor panel

* The indicator beside the button

corresponding to the panel flashes shortly.

* The data of the call is shown in SECTION
D of the display.
Example: call from panel nº 2 to the guard.
* To answer the call, pick-up the handset and
press the key which indicator flashes. The
display will indicate guard-panel communi-
cation.
* To release the lock press "KEY".
