Installation Procedure
1. Turn front tire to provide clearance.
2. Remove two screws (A) and (B) as shown in Fig. 1.
Remove the stone protector and retain both screws.
(Discard the stone protector).
3. Clean and degrease body panel where splash guard is to
be located.
4. Hold the splash guard in position against the rocker
molding and reinstall the two screws as shown in Fig. 2.
5. Using the Splash Guard as a template, drill 3 holes (3/16")
(5mm) at locations (C), (D) and (E) as shown in Fig 2 and
Fig 3.
6. Remove Splash Guard. Generously apply Super Lube with
PTFE to drilled (C) and (E) holes only and on the screws.
Install U-nuts at locations (C) and (E) as shown in Fig 4.
7. Reinstall Splash Guard using the two existing screws.
Install M4.2 Self-tapping Screws at locations (C) and (E) as
shown in Fig 5 and Fig 6.
8. Install M4.2 Pan Head Screw (with washer) at location (D)
using U-nut as a nut behind the liner as shown in Fig 5 and
Fig 6.
9. Pull splash guard forward slightly and remove tape liner as
shown in Fig 5. Apply 20-30 pounds of pressure along the
length of the tape to ensure proper contact.
10. Repeat procedure for the other side.
11. Guards can be cleaned with any commercially available
cleaner.
NOTE: Max torque on M4.2 Screw is 3.0 Nm
