• The unit will detect
and record traffic
programmes in the
background even
while you are
listening to stations
that do not broadcast
such announcements.
• The unit
automatically
records and stores up
to eight traffic
announcements (or
the recording time
reaches 8 minutes)
and the unit will
erase the oldest
recording every time
it records a new one.
• If the Select mode in
the Func. menu is set
to "Source," the
function menu
automatically
appears on the right
side of the display,
depending on the
source you select.

• Each time you press
and hold DSPL/PTY
for two seconds, the
function menu
switches as follows:

Note
"No Data" appears if
no traffic
announcements were
recorded.
To turn on the TIR function
The unit turns on automatically and stands by for traffic
announcements for up to one hour before and after the
preset time.

hold TIR until

If the preset station does not broadcast the traffic
announcement while searching, the unit starts searching
for other traffic programme (TP) stations.
To turn off the TIR function
Press and hold TIR for two second.
Playing back the recorded traffic
announcements
When there are recorded traffic announcements you have
not listened to yet, t appears in reverse contrast.
Press TIR.
The latest traffic announcement is played back.
To listen to the previous ones, press TIR or push the
SEEK/AMS control up.
To replay the announcements, push the SEEK/AMS
control down.
To cancel playing back the traffic announcement
press TIR again.
