structions prior to the initial operation of your ap-
pliance and store them for later use or subsequent owners.

General
These instructions describe the operation, maintenance
and cleaning of the attachment kit vacuuming. In the KM
100/100 R Bp (battery) sweeper the attachment kit is al-
ready installed ex factory.
For operation, maintenance and cleaning of the sweeper,
please refer to the original operating instructions of the
sweeper.

Proper use

Use the attachment kit vacuuming exclusively in accord-
ance with the details in these operating instructions.
The machine with working equipment must be checked
to ensure that it is in proper working order and is oper-
ating safely prior to use. Otherwise, the appliance must
not be used.
The attachment kit must not be modified.
Do not vacuum up harmful dusts.
Do not vacuum up burning or smouldering objects!
Do not vacuum up fluids.
Never vacuum up explosive liquids, combustible gases
or undiluted acids and solvents. This includes petrol,
paint thinner or heating oil which can generate explo-
sive fumes or mixtures upon contact with the suction
air. Acetone, undiluted acids and solvents must also be
avoided as they can harm the materials on the ma-
chine.
The machine may not be used or stored in hazardous
areas. It is not allowed to use the appliance in hazard-
ous locations.

Operations
4.1 Vacuuming
The key switch of the sweeper must be in position 1 (in-
itial startup) for the suction function.
Vacuuming can be done from the driver seat.
If the suction pipe is pulled out of the intake (contact
switch), the suction turbine switches on automatically.
Note
The suction turbine switches off automatically after 10 min-
utes of continuous vacuuming. If the work is to be contin-
ued, reinsert the suction pipe into the intake and pull it out
again.

4.2 Empty the container

4.2.1 Daily or as needed

Empty the container no later than when half of the fill
height is reached.
Take the suction hose out of the supports.
Open and secure the cover (see operating instructions
of the sweeper).
Open lid cap (2x) on the container, tilt the lid to the side.
When using a filter bag:
Remove the filter bag and dispose of it. Close the lid
again.
No filter bag used:
Remove the suction hose from the container connec-
tion.
Open the container closure on the metal strip, remove
the container.
Empty, reinsert and secure the container.
Note: The container must sit correctly in the device as
specified. Check!
Check dust filter and seal, clean if necessary.
