Primary alternative path test time (min): This is a time
period between test messages sent via GPRS channel, if
the main Ethernet connection fails. These test messages
are sent until the Ethernet connection restores.
Backup IP address, Backup port number, Backup
connection type, Backup key number, Backup encryption
key, Backup alternative path test time (min): Same as for
the primary receiver.
Status
The following status information is available: Ethernet, SIM
card, GSM registration status, GSM signal strength, GPRS
attachment, MI bus status.
Note:
For accurate data transfer, we recommend GSM signal
strength value above 10.
Default
Enter the menu to apply factory default settings.
Press * to confirm.
Upgrade firmware
The dialler firmware can be upgraded from Ethernet. The
following submenus are available.
Firmware IP address: The IP address of the server with
firmware upgrades.
Upgrade now: Enter to download and upgrade firmware
from the configured server.
Check for updates: Verify if the configured server stores a
newer firmware.
Version
This information includes dialler model and its firmware
version.
Note:
This menu is not available in Advisor Master.
Titan override
Due to connection limitations, Advisor Master panel cannot
send particular event reports to the central station when
connected to Titan software. When this option is enabled, the
dialer overrides the Titan connection and sends the event to
configured central stations.

This menu is only available in Advisor Master.
Configuring Advisor Master panel
Adding the module to the Advisor Master panel
Enable service in, if necessary. See Advisor Master Manager
Manual for more details.
Go to menu 19/4 (DGP) and poll in the address of TDA74xx.
Go to menu 19/28 (Remote Devices). If option 3-TDA74xx is
available, use it to configure the dialler, otherwise use menu 1-
DGP to configure the dialler as a standard DGP with the
appropriate address that is set by DIP switches.
Configuring the dialler from the panel
Connect to the DGP via the remote device menu to configure
it. See Advisor Master Programming Guide for more details.

Next, configure the dialler according to "Configuring TDA74xx"
on page 12.
Configuring communications
1.
Enter the Communications menu (19/9).
2.
Press enter until DTMF tone dialling appears. Enable it
using Menu.
3.
Press enter untill Enable ISDN line fault monitor appears.
Enable it using Menu.
4.
Press enter until Central Station 1 to 4 option is displayed.
- Configure CS <n>: n, Enter.
- Set format to X25 Enai: 12, Enter.
- Enter the IP address of CS 1 in 12-digit format and press
Enter. For example: 192.168.1.10 becomes
192168001010. In all cases the value must be configured,
however it will be overruled by the IP address in the IRIS
or OH configuration menu.
- Press enter until System account option appears. Enter
system account code. This account code is used to report
to IRIS or OH receiver. Press Enter when finished.
- Press Enter until Area account option appears. Configure
required areas. Press Enter when finished.
- Disable Bell modem using Menu and press Enter.
- Press Enter until X25 account code appears. Configure
it. Press Enter when finished.
- Press Enter until Connection type appears. Select
TDA74xx (if supported) by pressing 6, or ISDN-D by
pressing 2, and Enter.
Note:
Only one Central Station can be configured with
TDA74xx connection type from the ATS panel menu.
Please note that when configuring the communications menu
to communicate with an Osbourne Hoffman receiver the IP
addresses entered for central stations will be ignored in
preference to those configured in the TDA74xx unit itself.
Configuring communications - transmitting to a VdS
receiver
1.
Enter the Communications menu.
2.
Press Enter until option Central Station 1 to 4 is displayed.
- Configure CS <n>: n, Enter.
- Set format to VdS 2465 Small or Large: 12 or 13, Enter.
- Enter the IP address of CS 1 in 12-digit format and press
Enter. For example: 192.168.1.10 becomes
192168001010. In all cases the value must be configured,
however it will be overruled by the IP address in the IRIS
or OH configuration menu.
- Press enter until System account option appears. Enter
system account code. This account code is used to report
to VdS receiver. Press Enter when finished.
- Press Enter until Area account option appears. Configure
required areas. Press Enter when finished.
- Press Enter until Connection type appears. Select
TDA74xx (if supported) by pressing 6, or ISDN-D by
pressing 2, and Enter.
