NOTE: For sunroof vehicles: The front cross rail should be placed
half way between the front and rear sunroofs.
For non-sunroof vehicles: The front cross rail should be placed at the
rear of the front door.
On all vehicles, the rear cross rail should be placed at the rear of the
vehicle. This is the optimum placement of the cross rails for wind
noise reduction.
NOTE: When the crossrails are not in use, place the crossrails at the
following position for wind noise reduction. The front and rear crossrail
should be stowed at a minimum of 14 inches apart.
NOTE: Loading cargo on the luggage carrier that weighs more than
200 lbs (91 kg) or hangs over the rear or sides of the vehicle may
damage your vehicle. Load cargo so that it rests on the cross rails as
far forward as possible and against the side rails, making sure to
fasten it securely.
Installation Procedure
1. Insert slider blocks into center of rail channel and slide into
desired position.
2. Install cross rail assembly to slider blocks as shown.

3. Move cross rail to desired position along side rail and secure to
slider blocks using 2 screws and Torx head screw driver.
4. Place covers on cross rail supports and install torx head screws.
5. Repeat for rear cross rail.
6. Install rail plugs.
