3/16 (5mm), 1/16 (1.5mm) Drill Bit/Drill
T20 Torx Screwdriver
Clean Cloth/Rag
GM Vehicle Care Super Lube with PTFE
NOTE: Turning of front wheels to the left or right will allow for
additional clearance when installing the splash guards.
Installation Procedure
1. Clean and degrease body panel where splash guard is to be
located.
2. Using alcohol wipes, clean area to be taped.
3. Parts and vehicle temperature must be between 60°F and
109°F (15°C and 43°C).
4. Remove existing screws locations B and C. See Figure 1.
5. Mount splash guard and reinstall existing screws in locations
B, C while holding part up and into body panel. See Figure 1.

drill 3/16 (5mm) hole using part as a template. Then apply GM
Vehicle Care Super Lube with PTFE. See Figure 1.
7. Pull splash guard out slightly and install supplied u-nut over
panel edge and drilled hole location A. See Figure 1 and 2.
8. Drill 1/16 (1.5mm) in location D using part as a template.
See Figure 1. Do Not use GM Vehicle Care Super Lube with
PTFE.
9. While holding splash guard against panel install supplied
screw in location D, do not overtighten. See Figure 1.

supplied screw in location A and tighten. See Figure 2.
11. Push forward on splash guard and pull tape line off and
apply 20 - 30 pounds of pressure along tape length to ensure
contact.
12. Repeat procedure for other side.
13. Guards can be cleaned with any commercially available
cleaner.
