allowed to use the product with a damaged power cord. It is not allowed to have the power
cord repaired. It must be changed for a new one at an authorized service centre. When
using extension cords, use extension cords with power parameters such as those shown
on the device's nameplate. The cross-section of the extension wires shall not be less than
the cross-section of the wires of the power cord of the device. This should be checked on
the insulation of the power cord and the extension cord, or contact the manufacturer of the
device and/or the extension cord.
If you notice any damage to any part of the device, you must discontinue using it. In this case,
the device must be taken to an authorised service centre or replaced by yourself, if this is
permitted by the user's manual.
Turn off the device and unplug the power cord from the wall socket before you start any work
on replacing, cleaning, or adjusting moving parts.
This device may be used by children of at least 8 years of age and by persons with reduced
physical, mental abilities and persons with no experience or knowledge of the device, if su-
pervised or instructed on its safe use so that the risks associated with it were understandable.
Children should not play with the device. Children should not be allowed to clean or maintain
the product without supervision.
USING THE PRODUCT
Preparing the product for operation
CAUTION! Turn off the product and unplug the power cord from the socket during all installation operations.
The product must be assembled according to the below instructions. Only correct assembly ensures effi cient and safe operation.
Remove the product from its packaging, remove all parts and then wash all parts in contact with the food according to the instruc-
tions in the section entitled "Product maintenance".
Remove the bowl from the product by turning it so that the tabs in the base of the bowl slide out of the crease of the drive housing
and then lift it up (II).
Model 68251 has a bowl cap, carefully remove the snap-fasteners of the ring connecting the bowl to the cap, then separate the
two parts and also wash them according to the instructions in the section "Product maintenance".
Check that the notches of the metal axis of the head meet the tabs of the drive axis (III). Only then will the product motor properly
transmit the drive to the metal head.
Assemble the bowl and the cap (for model 68251). Make sure that all the hooks of the cap ring engage with the edge of the bowl (IV).
CAUTION! It is forbidden to use model 68251 without a correctly installed bowl cap.
Make sure that the below is correctly installed. The tabs in the base should be blocked by creases in the housing.
Set the product base according to the instructions. Make sure that the suction cups secure the product to the ground.
Check that the product switch is in the off position - O.
The plug of the power cord must match the power socket.
Start the product by pressing the switch and moving it to the on position - I.
The rotational movement of the metal head and heating of the heaters located under the head will begin.
Allow the device to operate for about 1 - 2 minutes.
Observe the operation of the product at all times. If you observe suspicious vibrations, excessive noise or smoke, turn the product
off immediately using the power switch and unplug the power cord from the socket. Wait until the device cools down and then
eliminate the cause of incorrect operation. It is forbidden to use a product that is not working properly. This may result in injury,
electric shock and/or fi re.
After warming up, turn off the product by turning the switch to the off position - O. Wait until the rotational movement of the head
has come to a complete standstill.
The product is ready for use.
Winding of the cotton candy
CAUTION! Only granulated sugar should be used for the preparation of the cotton candy. Do not pour other bulk products, e.g.
coff ee, milk powder, into the metal head. Do not mix any food products with sugar. The only permitted addition to sugar is a small
quantity of food colouring which produces coloured cotton candy.
