Max jet: 98~102
Min. jet: 45
To restore thermal balance it is necessary to fi t a spark plug of the NGK
BR 10 EG / EGV type, or a different one featuring the same rating.
Moreover, it is recommended to remove the automatic mixer and use
mixture directly in the fuel tank. The mixture should be prepared at
2% with 100% synthetic high quality oil.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1) Clean installation area thoroughly.
2) Drain coolant from the circuit
3) Remove muffl er, spark plug, cooling system hoses and, if fi tted,
the water temperature sensor.
4) Loosen the four head nuts. Carefully remove the head, cylinder
and piston.
5) Check con-rod condition. Change with new parts, if needed.
6) Carefully check that inside the new cylinder ducts (1) there are no
residues. Chamfer, with a scraper, all transfer ports on the cylinder
liner. Wash it with suitable solvent and blow with air.
7) Fit the stud bolts (14) in the suitable threaded holes on cylinder
(1) exhaust fl ange.
8) Wash and blow all parts of the kit with air in order to eliminate any
possible machining fi lings.
9) Protect the crankcase opening with a clean cloth, so to avoid that
foreign matter can enter by mistake; carefully clean cylinder mating
surface on casing.
10) Fit the roller bearing insert it in the con-rod small end.
11) Lubricate the bearing with 100% synthetic oil.
