The protection against radiating heat ensured by these visors varies with the temperature of the
heat source, as seen in this figure. It is best to use the visor only in cases where it can reduce
the exposure of the wearer's eyes below 100W/m².
HANDLING THE FACE SHIELD AND THE OCULAR VISOR
1. FACE SHIELD : It can be positioned by manually pulling up or down.
2. OCULAR VISOR : It can be manoeuvred by using the lever on the right-hand side of the
helmet. The resistance to movement of shields can be adjusted by screwing-unscrewing the
knob on the left-hand side of the helmet.
