Thermostat "vindo TH"
Installation:
1. To guarantee an easy installation of the thermostat, turn
handgrip to fully open position (figure "5").
2. Align the thermostat so that the indicator mark is clearly vi-
sible.
3. Hold in this position and tighten collar nut without using
excessive force.
Now set thermostat to the required room temperature.
Limiting the control range
The thermostat is equipped with two limiting clips for individual
room temperature limitation. They can be found on the outer
side of the handgrip between figures "5" and "0" in the "parking
position". They slide with the help of a suitable tool or pen,
e.g. a ball pen.
The thermostat can be limited to any graduation line, figure or
frost protection symbol.
Example: Limiting the control range to a minimum of about
16°C (figure "2") and a maximum of about 24°C (figure "4").

Presetting
To limit the minimum control range, for instance at figure "2",
one limiting clip should be fitted into the groove immediately
before figure "2" (the groove directly opposite figure "2" thus
remains free).
To limit the maximum control range, for instance at figure "4",
the second limiting clip should be fitted into the groove imme-
diately after figure "4" (the groove directly opposite figure "4"
thus remains free).
The limitation can be cancelled by sliding the limiting clips out
of the lower and upper position and by fitting them back into
the "parking position".
Locking the temperature setting
If the temperature setting shall be locked to figure "3" (about
20°C), i.e. unauthorized tampering shall be prevented, the ther-
mostat must be turned to this temperature setting.
The two limiting clips must be pulled out of the '"parking posi-
tion" and must be pushed into the grooves immediately before
and after figure "3".
The locking can be cancelled at any time by sliding the limiting
clip out the grooves and by fitting them back into the "parking
position".
The thermostat can be locked to any graduation line, figure or
the frost protection symbol.
