Operating the fastener driving tool
Regulate the operating pressure according to the strength
of the wood you are using.
The operating pressure is set correctly when the desired insertion
depth of the nails is reached with the lowest possible pressure.
Triggering the fastener driving tool one time
To trigger the fastener driving tool one time, follow these steps:
Set the selector switch to "T" (triggering one time) (see page 27).
Place the tip of the fastener driving tool on the piece of wood
and press the fastener driving tool against the piece of wood.
Press the triggering mechanism all the way down.
A nail is driven into the piece of wood.
Release the triggering mechanism.
Lift the fastener driving tool up off the piece of wood.
To drive in additional nails, repeat these steps.
Triggering the fastener driving tool repeatedly
Do not use the fastener driving tool in the "Repeated triggering" setting
in the following cases:
For types of use that require moving with the fastener driving tool
over scaffolding, stairs, ladders or structures similar to ladders,
for closing boxes or crates and
for mounting transport safety devices.
In these cases position the selector switch to "T" (trigger one time).
To be able to trigger the fastener driving tool repeatedly, follow these
steps:
Test the setting by triggering one time.
Lift the fastener driving tool up off the wood.
If necessary set the desired insertion depth (see page 28).
Set the selector switch to "TTT" (repeated triggering) (see page 27).
Press the triggering mechanism all the way down.
