Operating the fastener driving tool
Regulating the insertion depth with the operating pressure
You can regulate the insertion depth of the coil nail into the material
by adjusting the operating pressure. At a higher operating pressure
the nails are driven in deeper, at a lower operating pressure less deep.
Adjust the operating pressure so you achieve exactly the desired
insertion depth. This will give you the following advantages:
You will save energy (compressed air),
You will lower the noise level and
You will reduce the wear on the fastener driving tool.
To adjust the operating pressure, follow these steps:
Hold the fastener driving tool so that the tool tip is pointing down.
Adjust the pressure on the pressure valve of the compressor.
Watch the pressure display of the compressor.
Checking the insertion depth
Press the tool tip against the test piece of wood with the same
properties as the material you will be working with.
Check the setting by triggering one time on the test material.
Repeat these steps until you have set the desired insertion depth.
