1 instructions for use
Before you start having fun on your rollers, you should inspect your skates in detail. Is everything
perfectly in place, properly adjusted and fitting tightly? Please check all connection elements and
closures for a firm fit prior to all skating adventures. If everything looks in order, you are ready to
roll!
PROTECTIVE GEAR
STOP one more time! Do not forget to put on your safety gear: Hand and wrist protectors, knee and
elbow pads, reflective clothing and a helmet are mandatory safety features. Not only will they keep
you safe – they also look really cool!
YOUR DRIVING TECHNIQUE
Before you hit the pavement, you should definitely try out your skates – the best place to exercise
is on an old piece of carpet. If you prefer to hit the great outdoors right away, you should make your
first attempts supported by someone who will hold your hand or along a railing, wall or anything you
can hold on to. First and foremost, you will have to learn how to keep your balance. It is the most
important skill you need to become a proficient inline skater. Once you have that down to an art, try
to move forward in long, pushing steps. The rollers should remain on the ground as long as you can
keep them there. Make your first skating attempts in an evenly paved area where there is no traffic.
Make sure the surface is smooth and clean. It will be more fun and it will also be easy on your
skates. Moisture, sand and debris can damage your rollers and bearings. Use your inline skates only
in appropriate settings that are smooth, clean, dry and if at all possible, not used by other traffic
participants. If you share an area with traffic, be mindful of others and remember that inline skaters
are required to obey all traffic laws. Make sure you are accompanied by an experienced inline
skater when you make your first attempts. You should not try to go skating alone until you are a well
trained and proficient, safe skater.
BRAKING/STOPPING
Whenever you intend to come to a slow stop, you can simply allow your skates to roll out. That's
what the professionals do. Of course you can also use your stopper to come to an instant stop. To do
so, simply lift the tip of your foot slightly until the stopper touches the ground.
Once you have acquired the necessary skills, you can try the following maneuvers on your
inline skates:
1. Of course it is great fun to skate at a high speed and feel the sensation of the wind on your
face as you are racing along.
2. Dancing silhouettes is a lot of fun as well. You can even draw figures on the ground and roll
alongside your drawings.
3. You might also want to set up cones for slalom fun!
REPLACING THE STOPPER
If you have to brake a lot, it will eventually wear down your stopper and you will need to replace it.
To do so, simply loosen the stopper from the chassis using the provided key. Once you have done,
you can pull the stopper off of its guide. Now insert the new stopper properly and pull the screws
tight. The clearance between the bottom edge of the stopper and the skating surface must be
between 7 - 17 mm.
If you have never done this before, please have an experienced person do it for you or help you.
Stopper replacements should be performed by someone who has experience – if at all possible.

REPLACING ROLLERS AND BEARINGS
Rollers and bearings may be purchased as accessories and can be replaced independently of each
other once they are worn down or worn out. When replacing rollers please remember that the old
rollers will have to be removed and the new rollers will have to be installed correctly.
To do so, follow the instructions in Figure A and make sure that the axle screws are tightened back
into place and that you secure them with safety lacquer.
Do not pull them apart under any circumstances! Your inline skates are equipped with precision
bearings. During the manufacturing process they are lubricated with grease under extreme pres-
sure. This ensures that your skates don't run easily and at high speeds until a load has been placed
on them when you are skating.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

If you take good care of your inline skates, and, most importantly, keep them clean, you will
enjoy them for a long time. Any sharp edges resulting from the skates' use should be smoothed
immediately. Please remember that changes to the materials and their composition should be made
by trained experts only. Some components are equipped with special safety materials or devices
(for instance self securing lacquer), which can result in improper functioning if altered (e.g. after
the loosening of screws) and consequently, serious injuries. Never use anything but a slightly moist
cleaning rag or towel to clean your inline skates. Do not use specialty cleaning products under any
circumstances. Prior to and after each use, please check your inline skates for damages and wear
and tear. Store your inline skates in a safe location, where they are protected from the impact of
weather so that they will not be damaged and will not cause injuries to others.
DISPOSAL INFORMATION
Once your inline skates have reached the end of their useful life, please dispose of them through
locally available return and collection sites. Call your on location disposal services provider if you
have any specific questions.

If you have trouble making size
adjustments, we recommend you
ask an experienced individual.
To adjust the size, simply press
down the lever at the bottom end of
the heel. While pressing down the
lever, you can now slide the fixed
back end of the shoe back and forth
with your other hand. Below the
center part of the shoe you will see
the shoe sizes you can adjust the
shoe to. Once you have adjusted the
shoe to the desired size, simply let
the lever go and pull the back of the
shoe one more time. You will now
hear the lever lock into place.
