Problem

TROUBLESHOOTING
Possible causes
» Acoustic signal OFF.
» Capsule not compatible.
» An inadequate pod has been
used.
» Supplying device clogged.
» Hydraulic circuit clogged with
limescale.
» Milk jug missing or inserted
wrongly.
» Milk cover positioned with the
nozzles facing the handle.
Solution
» Set the machine to the stand-by
mode, then simultaneously
keep the "ESPRESSO
"MACCHIATO
buttons depressed over at least
2 seconds.
IF THE PROBLEM CANNOT
BE SOLVED, CONTACT
THE LAVAZZA CUSTOMER
SERVICE.
» Try again by using another
capsule from a different
package.
» Remove the used capsule and
use a new one.
» Clean the coffee dispensing
spout (see MAINTENANCE
AND CLEANING).
» Perform the descaling
procedure by means of the
Lavazza descaling product.

» Insert the milk jug.
The milk preparation warning
lights will be turned on if the jug
is inserted correctly.
» Turn the milk cover so that the
