SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 3600
Read the instructions BEFORE operating the ORWAK 3600.
FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY TO AVOID ACCIDENTS
Our warranty and responsibility requires that the usage and safety instructions are followed and that only
original spare parts and recommended hydraulic oil and lubricants are used.
The user of the machine is responsible for the safety checks, the maintenance and for ensuring that any faults are
corrected to avoid accidents.The user is responsible for ensuring that all National and Local Laws are complied with
when using the machine.
This symbol means WARNING or DANGER - personal safety instruction!
ORWAK 3600 is designed for ONE MAN OPERATION. Only the operator is allowed in the working area.
Only trained operators are allowed to use the machine
The machine must not be used if the safety functions have been interfered with, such as the removal or
damage of protections, switches etc. Defective or removed parts must be replaced by original spare parts.
The centre of gravity is located high up. If the machine needs to be moved, the press plate must be
lowered fully before moving.
Service and repair are only allowed to be performed by qualifi ed and competent staff, and in
accordance with the ORWAK service instructions.
Warning! It is only allowed to compact cardboard and plastic in the machine. The standard version
of the machine is adjusted for pressing cardboard
When pressing plastic, a lower press force must be used (see technical data for more information)
Warning! The waste must not be placed in one corner or side of the chamber. The waste must be
evenly distributed in the chamber. (This gives a compact and stable bale, at the same time as the
press plate is evenly loaded).
Avoid pressing material of different hardness in the machine. (If the waste is not carefully mixed in the
chamber, then the press plate could be unevenly loaded).
Wrongly placed waste could cause the press plate to become unevenly loaded, which could lead to
serious machine damage.
The machine must not be used by under age persons.
Do not climb on the machine.
