The ORWAK 3600 is equipped with the following safety features:
The main switch can be secured with a padlock to prevent unauthorised use or when servicing the machine.
(The main switch can also be used as a manual shutter switch).
The emergency stop switch breaks the electrical circuit immediately it is used. When the switch is reset the
machine will not restart. The start button has to be pressed again. The press plate always returns upwards to a
safe position.
Mechanical and electrical limit switch prevent the machine from being used with the door open.
Mechanical and electrical limit switch prevent the machine from being used with the shutter open.
Wheel operated door lock and fl ap prevent the door from injuring the operator when opening.
The electrical circuit of the machine is internally protected by a motor protection device and should be protected
externally by a 25 A fuse.
The control circuit of the machine is protected by a 2.5 A fuse.
Under voltage protection is provided to prevent the machine from starting after a power failure.
Double push buttons on one side of the machine makes it possible for the operator to eject the bale from the
machine without being exposed to danger, at the same time as it is possible to supervise the area in front of the
machine.
The ORWAK 3600 is a hydraulically driven baler used only to reduce the volume of the bulky materials card-
board and plastic.
Materials other than those that the machine is intended for must not be compacted in the ORWAK 3600
baler. The ORWAK 3600 standard version is equipped with a pressure switch which allows the machine to
press cardboard at a force of 50 tons respectively.
Plastic must be pressed at a lower press force! See technical data for more information.
Materials easily set on fi re or of an explosive nature, drums with residual low fl ash point liquids, or
anything which could cause damage or explosion must not be compacted in the machine.
The ORWAK 3600 is insulated to IP 55 so it can be used in damp locations but not in areas which are classifi ed as
hazardous. Always check the local regulations. The machine must only be placed in spaces with a roof, protection
against wind and normal lighting.
