Programming
To program the sensor, refer to your panel documentation and do
the following:
1.
Make sure the sensor battery is installed.
2.
Put the panel into Program mode.
Proceed to the Learn Sensors menu.
3.
4.
Select the appropriate sensor group and sensor number
assignments.
5.
When prompted by the panel to trip the sensor, open and
close the cover of the sensor.
6.
Exit Program mode.
RF testing
This section describes the basic steps for testing the sensor. Refer
to your panel or receiver documentation for complete testing
details.
To RF test the sensor, do the following:
1.
Set the panel to Sensor Test.
2.
Trip the sensor.
3.
Listen for an appropriate response from the system sirens.
4.
Exit Sensor Test.
5.
Mount the sensor.

Battery replacement

When the system indicates the sensor battery is low, replace it
immediately. Use the recommended replacement batteries (see
Specifications) or contact technical support for more information.
Dispose of used batteries according to battery directive instruc-
tions and /or instructoins from local government authorities.
Observe polarity when installing a new battery. Installing
the battery backward may cause damage to the sensor.
To replace the battery, do the following:

Remove the sensor cover (

Remove the battery and dispose as required by local laws.
Insert the replacement battery, observing correct polarity.
3.
Do a sensor test to resynchronize the sensor with the panel.

Installationsanweisungen
Einführung
Dies sind die Installationsanweisungen für den
Erschütterungsmelder 868 GEN2 für die Modelle TX-5011-03-1
und TX-5011-03-3. Der Erschütterungsmelder bietet folgende
Funktionen:
• Er erkennt Vibrationen, die durch das unbefugte Aufbrechen
eines Fensters oder einer Tür verursacht werden.
• Er erkennt das Öffnen eines Fensters oder einer Tür.
• Er erkennt Sabotageversuche, z. B. unbefugtes Entfernen
der Melderabdeckung oder Entfernen des Melders von der
Wand.
Vibrationen führen vorübergehend zu einem geöffneten Stromkreis im
Sensorelement des Melders. Der Stromkreis wird wieder
geschlossen, sobald die Vibration aufhört. Der Mikrocontroller des
Melders erkennt das Öffnen/Schließen als Impuls und weist den
Melder an, ein Alarmsignal zu senden. Der Melder verfügt über zwei
verschiedene Erkennungsmodi:
Gross Attack (Grober Angriff). Erkennt einen heftigen
Schlag, der lang genug ist, um den Melder zu aktivieren.
Pulse Count (Impulszähler). Erkennt eine ausreichend
große Anzahl an weniger heftigen Schlägen (Schlagen oder
Klopfen).
Der Melder ist mit einem integrierten magnetischen Reedkontakt
ausgestattet, durch den das Öffnen/Schließen der Tür erkannt
wird.
Der Melder wird durch eine einzige 3-Volt-Lithiumbatterie mit
Energie versorgt.
Werkzeuge und Zubehör
Sie benötigen folgende Werkzeuge und folgendes Zubehör:
• Dokumentation zur Zentrale
• Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher.
• Schlitzschraubendreher (zum Öffnen der Abdeckung).
• Magnetwerkzeugsatz, der einen Magneten, eine 3,5 x 25 mm-
Schraube (1''), einen Kunststoffdübel, eine Magnetabdeckung
sowie ein Magnetgehäuse für die Installation des Magneten
enthält.
• Produktwerkzeugsatz, der drei 3,5 x 25 mm-Schrauben (1''),
drei Kunststoffdübel und eine kleine 0,6 cm-Schraube (0,25'')
enthält.
