to the grid removed before using the appliance.
Before connecting the appliance, check:
a) that the voltage values shown on the data plate (220-240V~
50Hz) correspond to those of the electricity supply network
b) the electrical system to which the appliance will be connected
must:
- Conform to current standards
- Have cables with an adequate diameter for the power
consumption
- Have effective grounding and be in accordance with the
applicable electrical safety standards: in case of doubt, request
an accurate check from professionally qualified personnel.
For installation, it is necessary to provide an omnipolar switch with
a contact opening distance equal to or greater than 3mm.
Install the appliance at an appropriate distance from walls,
objects, heat sources, textiles (curtains, etc..) or volatile material,
and at least 2.3 m from the floor level.
Install the appliance to a masonry or metal ceiling / slab and / or
material that guarantees a support of a weight equal to at least 8
times the weight of the appliance.
Before installation, check the following:
a) that the appliance is in good condition
b) that the elettric cables are not damaged
c)
that the omnipolar switch of the electrical network is in the
off position (OFF). If the appliance falls or receives a heavy
blow, immediately check all components for damage. If in
doubt, have the appliance checked or assembled by a
qualified professional person.
Do not use the appliance with a timer or a programmer or with a
system that can switch on the appliance automatically, this
avoiding the risk of damage to persons, animals or things.
In the event of a breakdown or poor operation, turn the fan
heater off and ask for professionally qualified help: repairs made
by unqualified persons can be dangerous and render void the
warranty.
Make sure you have all the components before installation.
To prevent damage, assemble the appliance on a flat, smooth
surface, without any roughness, in order to avoid damage or
scratches to the fan.
