▶ Turn the selector ring for driving
energy to increase driving
energy.
▶ Use an extra-strong cartridge.
▶ Use a more powerful system,
e.g. DX 76 (PTR), with corre-
sponding suitable fasteners.
▶ Turn the selector ring for driving
energy to increase driving
energy.
▶ Use an extra-strong cartridge.
▶ Use a more powerful system,
e.g. DX 76 (PTR), with corre-
sponding suitable fasteners.
▶ Turn the selector ring for driving
energy to reduce driving energy.
▶ Turn the selector ring to reduce

▶ Use a less powerful cartridge

Action to be taken
▶ Change the cartridge strip.
▶ Clean the fastening tool.
▶ If necessary, have the fastening
tool checked by Hilti Service.

type intended for use with the
fastening tool.
▶ Allow the fastening tool to
cool down under constant
observation.
▶ Subsequently, carefully remove
the cartridge strip from the
fastening tool.
▶ Service the tool.
▶ Clean the cartridge chamber.
▶ Insert new cartridge strip.
▶ Pull the cartridge strip through
to the next cartridge.
▶ Service the tool.
