6.- Place the pressure valve on the steam pin and push down until it clicks into place.
7.- Place the pot on a cooktop. This pot is compatible with any cooktop, including induction. Start with
high heat. After several minutes, the red indicator/safety valves should rise and then the pressure
valve will start to bounce.
Cooking time starts when the steam valve starts to bounce. At this time, reduce the heat until a
stable pressure valve bounce is maintained.
NOTE:
Never operate the pressure cooker while "dry".
NOTE:
Do not move the pot while there is pressure inside.
8.- Once the time has completed, turn off the cooktop. The pressure must be reduced prior to removing
the lid.
To quickly reduce pressure (recommended for fresh vegetables and seafood), tilt the pressure valve
to release pressure and steam. When the red indicator/safety valves descend completely, the lid may
be safely opened.
NOTE:
Do not touch the stainless-steel part until the pot has cooled down. This part is very hot
and may cause burns.
9.- Remove the pressure valve from the steam pin. Push the lid handle in the counterclockwise direction
until the arrow on the lid is aligned with the arrow on the pot handle.
Lift with caution, be careful of hot steam.
NOTE:
Never attempt to open the lid until the pressure valve has been removed and the red
indicator/safety valves have fully descended.
10.- Remove the food from the pot. Clean the pot according to the instructions.
