1.3 For Safe Operation

Exercise extreme caution when working with voltages above 30
V RMS or 50 V

Never exceed the specified rated voltage, particularly with
regard to the earth.
When measuring amperage, always verify that the value of the
current to be measured is compatible with the instrument's
range. For instruments equipped with fuses, check the
condition of the fuses before use. Replace used fuses only with
those specified in this manual.
Do not use the instrument in damp or dusty environments.
Never use the instrument without electricians' gloves and any
other safety equipment required by legislation.
Always keep your fingers behind the finger guards on the probe.
Never touch the metal part of the probe with your fingers.
Verify that the test leads and probes are in good mechanical
and electrical condition before use. Replace damaged probes
or test leads immediately. Do not use the device if it is
damaged.
Never use the instrument with the rear case open.
Do not replace the battery when the test leads are connected.

high temperatures or high relative humidity.
