7.14 RANGE Function (Manual Ranging / Autoranging)
The default mode is AUTO RANGE.
The "RANGE" symbol appears on the screen.
Press the RANGE key to manually select a measurement range.
The AUTO symbol disappears from the screen. Hold the key
down for 2 seconds to return to AUTO mode; "AUTO" is displayed
and the buzzer is activated.
7.15 Hz Function
In the switch positions V, 400 mA and 10 A:
• Press the Hz key once to change from V or mA measurement
to the associated frequency measurement.
• Press again to measure the associated cyclic ratio. Press a
third time to return to the primary measurement (V or mA).
In the switch position Hz.
• Press the Hz% key once to measure the associated cyclic
ratio.
• Press again to return to the frequency measurement.

7.16 REL Function

On all switch positions (except during frequency measurements),
this function can be used to compare two readings.
1. Set the switch to the desired function and make the first
measurement.
2. Press the REL key; "zero" is displayed.
3. Make the second measurement. The difference between the
new reading and the reference reading is displayed on the
screen.

7.17 Display Backlight

Press the LIGHT key to activate the backlight. The backlight
automatically turns off after 10 seconds.
