Cadillac Eldorado/Seville 1983-1991

1. Remove the Phillips screws above the A/C vents. (Figure A)
2. Carefully lift underneath the top edge of the plastic trim ring around the factory
radio, unhook the bottom edge, remove the trim ring and set aside.
3. Remove the factory radio itself and disconnect wiring from the rear of the unit.
4. Remove the original brackets that mount the factory radio to dash.

Note: Keep the old brackets for mounting the new radio.

Chevrolet Astro/GMC Safari 1985-1989

1. Remove the (3) Phillips screws from the top section of the plastic console trim
ring around the factory radio. (Figure A)
2. Open the glove box to expose the (2) 10mm bolts at the lower edge of the trim
ring. Remove these bolts.
3. Carefully pull the console trim ring away from the dashboard, remove the now
exposed (2) 7mm bolts, remove the console trim ring and set aside.
4. Remove the (2) 7mm screws holding the factory radio, remove the radio unit
itself and disconnect wiring from the rear of the unit.
5. Remove the original brackets that mount the factory radio to dash.

Note: Keep the old brackets for mounting the new radio.
