General safety instructions

The hand pump is intended only for the uses described in this manual. Any improper use of
the hand pump may lead to injuries or destruction of the hand pump or other items!
Before using the hand pump for the first time, the integrity of the hand pump must be checked, e.g.:
 The pump body exhibits no visible damage
 The extensible connection hose exhibits no visible damage
 The pump head is fully operational and screws easily onto the valve

Usage
The Dräger hand pump is suitable for the pressure build-up at tightness and stress tests on air-filled gas and
water tubes and similar tanks up to 3.5 bar.
Open hand pump
Grab the hand pump with both hands. Then pull the hand pump apart and pull out the connection hose.
Close hand pump
Slide in the connection hose. Grab the hand pump with both hands and push it together.
Build up pressure
Open the hand pump and tighten the pump head of the connection hose with knurl 1 onto the Schrader valve
of the pump adaptor. If the valve discharge of the pump head with knurl 2 is opened, close it by tighten it
counter wise.

Build up the desired pressure. When the desired pressure is built-up, open the valve discharge by turning
knurl 2 counter clockwise until it's fully released. The Schrader valve of the pump adaptor will be closed.
Afterwards turn off the pump head counter clockwise with knurl 1 from the Schrader valve.
