5. General information about calluses
Calloused skin is normal, especially on the feet. However, it should not become
too thick or hard.
Both of these conditions can cause pain.
Causes
An increase in calloused skin can be caused by wrong shoes, obesity, an incorrect
gait, bone deformations or extremely dry skin. If you suffer from an increase in
calloused skin, try to determin the cause and eliminate it.
