Push the battery into the power tool from the
rear as far as it will go and until it is heard to
engage with a double click.

CAUTION A falling battery may present a risk of
injury to yourself or others.
Check that the battery is seated securely in the
appliance.

7. Operation

7.1 Switching on / off
Press the on / off switch.
7.2 Rotating the lamp body
CAUTION
Do not point the lamp towards yourself or other
persons. Do not, under any circumstances, look
into the lamp. There is a risk of dazzling yourself
and causing damage to the retina of the eye.

8. Care and maintenance

CAUTION
Before beginning cleaning, remove the battery from
the power tool or appliance in order to prevent
unintentional starting.
8.1 Care of insert tools
Clean off dirt and dust deposits adhering to the insert
tools and protect them from corrosion by wiping the
insert tools from time to time with an oil-soaked rag.
8.2 Care of the appliance
Do not permit foreign objects to enter the interior of
the appliance. Clean the outside of the appliance at
regular intervals with a slightly damp cloth. Do not
use a spray, steam pressure cleaning equipment or
running water for cleaning. This will negatively affect
the electrical safety of the appliance. Always keep

The lamp body can be rotated. Please note that the
lamp body can be rotated only in one direction and
only as far as the end stop. Do not attempt to force
the lamp body past the end stop.
7.3 Storage and transport position 4
Rotate the lamp body by turning the knob, overcom-
ing the slight resistance of the position in which it
engages, until the reflector is pointing towards the
battery.
The lamp switches off automatically and can then be
stored or transported.
The lamp cannot be switched on when in the storage
position. Rotate the lamp body until the reflector is
pointing upwards and switch the lamp on.

8.3 Care of the Li-ion battery
Avoid entrance of moisture.
Charge the battery fully before using it for the first
time.
In order to achieve maximum battery life, stop using

If use of the power tool or appliance continues, battery
discharge is stopped automatically (indicated by LED
1 blinking) before the battery cells suffer damage.
Press the release button at the rear of the battery.
Pull the battery out of the power tool toward the
rear.
Press both battery release buttons.
Pull the battery out of the power tool toward the
rear.
