Display type

Use the TIME button of the remote control unit to change the
display type.

How to turn off the display

By pressing the DISPLAY button of the remote control unit, the
display indicators are turned off, except for the power indicator.
Press this button once again to turn them on again. Turning off
the display reduces the electrical noise slightly, and therefore
improves the sound.
< When the display is turned off, using a control such as the
PLAY button will light the display light for about four seconds.
< Turning off the power cancels the "display off" function. When
you turn the player on again, the display is normal.

Playback with a four-second silence between
tracks
< Pressing STOP also cancels the auto space function.
This player is designed so that playback starts automatically
when the power is switched on, and a disc is loaded.
When operated together with an external timer, you can start
playback at a set time.

Auto Space

The auto space function allows you to play back with a four-
second silence between tracks. It is useful when recording to
tape, as many tape decks use such a silence to locate to the
start of tracks.
Press the AUTO SPACE button of the remote control unit to
toggle this function on and off. When auto space is on, "AUTO
SPACE" lights on the display.
