are not correctly connected or operated, or if
they are not repaired in an expert way
If the units are to be put out of operation
definitively, take them to a local recycling
plant for a disposal which is not harmful
to the environment

Applications
In combination with the portable pocket receiver
TG-10R /1 from JTS, the transmitter TG-10STX /1
provides a wireless mono audio transmission sys-
tem specially designed for transmitting speech
Any desired number of receivers TG-10R /1 can
be operated with a single transmitter Thus, the
system is ideally suited for applications where the
signal of one speaker is fed to several persons,
e g speeches in different languages For wireless
transmission, 16 channels are available in the UHF
frequency range 863 – 865 MHz The transmission
range of the system depends on local conditions
and may reach 60 m as a maximum It is possible
to operate up to three wireless systems TG-10... / 1
in parallel without interference
The transmitter features two input channels
to connect up to two mono audio sources (e g
desk microphone) or a stereo audio source (e g
master output of a mixer) The mixed mono signal
of the two channels is transmitted to the receiver
Via a third input channel, it is also possible to feed
in another audio signal which is not transmitted
but only reproduced via the headphone output of
the transmitter
Hint: To set up an interpretation system for various
languages, JTS offers the language distributor IT-12M
and the interpreter consoles IT-12D For wireless trans-
mission of the translations made via the IT-12 system
to the audience, the wireless systems of the TG-10... /1
series are suitable: Several transmitters TG-10STX /1 are
connected to the language distributor IT-12M in order
to transmit the different languages to the matching
receivers TG-10R /1
3.1 Conformity and approval
Herewith, MONACOR INTERNATIONAL declare
that the transmitter TG-10STX /1 complies with
the directive 2014 / 53 / EU The EU declaration of
conformity is available on the Internet:
www jts-europe com
The transmitter is generally approved for operation
in EU and EFTA countries; it is licence-free and
requires no registration

Connection
Always switch off the transmitter before making
any connections
1) Insert the antenna (1) provided into the antenna
jack ANTENNA OUT (13) and put it in a vertical
position
2) Connect the audio source / sources for wireless
transmission to the input CH 1 IN and/or the
input CH 2 IN (12): either one or two mono
source / sources (e g desk microphone, mono
line output of an audio unit) or a stereo source
(e g master output of a mixer or stereo line
output of a player) The combined XLR / 6 3 mm
jacks are designed for balanced signals If only
an unbalanced signal is available at the output
of the signal source, use a 2-pole 6 3 mm plug
to feed it to the corresponding input jack (Con-
figuration of the plugs
Note: The XLR connection has a latching mechanism
To remove the XLR plug later, press the PUSH lever at
the jack
For a condenser microphone operating at a
phantom power of approx ⎓ 46 V, use the
input CH 1 IN and set the switch CH 1 PHAN-
TOM POWER (9) to ON to activate the phantom
power for the input
Caution: When the switch is set to ON, only
connect audio sources designed for a phantom
power to the input CH 1 IN Other units, e g
microphones with unbalanced output, may be
damaged
3) To route the input signals of the jacks CH 1 IN
and CH 2 IN to another unit (e g amplifier, sec-
ond transmitter, recorder), the signals are avail-
able at the 6 3 mm jacks LOOP OUT CH 1 and
CH 2 (11) If the signal at the input is balanced,
the corresponding feed-through signal routed
out is also balanced; an unbalanced input signal
is always unbalanced at the output
4) The 3 5 mm jack
stereo headphones (minimum impedance 16 Ω)
to monitor either the transmission signal (mixed
signal CH 1 / CH 2) or the signal at the input
CH 3 (8)
The audio signal fed in via the input CH 3
is not transmitted but only reproduced via the
headphones connected Thus, you will be able
to give instructions or a speech to be translated
to someone via headphones Connect the out-
put of the audio source, e g line output at the
